We are thrilled to share the details of our Pop-Up School Supply Store that took place at Black Hawk Middle School on Saturday, August 17. As a result of the amazing support we received this year, there are now at least 537 students who will show up to school with the supplies they need to be successful!! That is a big increase over the number of students we were able to help in 2018.

The school supplies for this year’s Pop-Up store were either generously donated or purchased using the monetary donations from our many amazing sponsors. We needed every last penny this year in order to provide enough school supplies for all 537 students.

There are so many reasons to be proud of this year’s Pop-Up Store, but one of the things we are most proud of year after year is our ability to provide a great selection of supplies. We make every effort to have a wide variety of colors and themes, so the students really get to experience the feeling of picking out their own school supplies. Every year, so many of the families in attendance cannot believe these wonderful school supplies are being offered for free!
Although this year’s School Readiness Campaign is coming to a close, we are always collecting school supply donations and School Readiness Sponsorships for next year. We were able to reach 537 students in 2019; maybe we can reach over 600 in 2020!
